What I Wore & FOTN: An Evening Meal

20 August 2014

In Week #33 I went to Prezzo with a few of my friends who were visiting home from university and we had such a lovely, relaxed evening. A few days prior I'd received a rather huge ASOS order and so my outfit was pretty ASOS-centric! I let my hair dry naturally and decided to focus on my makeup instead - when you're chronically ill with little social life to speak of, it's basically the law that when you get the chance to do something fun you have to get out your Naked palette and celebrate by wearing real diamonds. True story.

What's your go-to outfit, hair and makeup look for an evening meal?

  1. Oh wow, you are such a beauty Meg! Glad you had a lovely evening with your friends <3

I love your ASOS wrap blouse, such a stylish look for a night out. Also love how you've teamed it with such pretty sandals. Your make-up is flawless too, I really adore MAC lip products, can never go wrong with MAC ;)

    1. Aww, thank you so much Sophie! You're so kind :) I love it too, I wasn't too sure about how it looked online but I thought I could always send it back if I wasn't keen, but I actually really like it and I own mostly white blouses so it's a nice change. Thanks! Me too, they're probably my favourite lipsticks, I've loved them for years x

  2. Cashmere Cupcake is such a nice shade! I always do for smokey brown eyes and a warm neutral lip!

    1. Pretty, isn't it! Sometimes I have enough of brights and want something that looks a bit more polished, it's a great nude for us fair girls as it doesn't make my skin tone look washed out. That sounds absolutely perfect! x

    1. Thanks, Sunaina! I've put the links to everything in the post, if you click on 'ASOS Wrap Front Blouse' it'll take you straight to the item on the ASOS website :) hope that helps and you like it if you get it! x

  6. You look so beautiful - the pale blue of your top really suits you too. My go to look for an evening meal is a smokey eye and messy hair - I'm usually a fan of a bold lip when I go out but when you're eating it's not always the best option haha! :)

    1. Thanks so much! I love that shade, I was so obsessed with powder blue this summer - this blouse is a little lighter but I actually really like it, it's a bit more subtle. I absolutely agree, tousled locks and a smoky eye sounds perfect! Bright or bold lips can often end up looking not so perfect once you've tucked in, haha x

    1. Thank you! You're so kind, Lauren. Ah congratulations, I'm excited to read it! I feel your pain girl, it takes so long doesn't it. Combine it with sore fingers that don't want to type properly and you're in for hours upon hours of work x
